Taco Pizza

20 Aug

Taco Pizza is easy and delicious! Here’s how we make it:

Ingredients:
Pizza crust (use Pillsbury Classic Crust or make your own whole wheat crust)
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 packet Taco Seasoning
1 bag Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
Medium Chunky Salsa
Jalapenos*
Black Olives*
Sour Cream*
*optional

Preheat the oven to 4oo degrees. While the oven is preheating, brown the ground beef.  Add the taco seasoning according to packet instructions.

Unroll the pizza crust and press into a baking sheet or pizza pan. Spread seasoned ground beef on pizza crust.

Sprinkle cheese on top of ground beef.

Spoon desired amount of salsa over ground beef (we like lots).

Add extras!  We like to add some jalapenos and my husband likes black olives.

Bake pizza for 12-15 min.  Let cool before slicing.

Serve!  My husband likes to top his with sour cream.  I usually serve Taco Pizza with tortilla chips and salsa.
